A cycling black eye
it was offically announced. tyler has been released from his phonak team. "they" call it a mutual agreement between the 2 sides. referring to so much pressure being applied by the UCI, pro tour invite issues, pending doping cases, medals at stake, 15% image contracts, etc..
not to mention several members of the team have already tested positive. to add more salt in the wound earlier this year oscar had been released regarding tour performance issues, or lack thereof. poor floyd landis and what the hell must he be thinking right about now?
so american cycling is taking a serious punch in the face today. i'm now 50/50 on this issue. its hard to watch this happen. in today's competitive world of cycling...anything is possible.
part of me wants tyler & phonak to be handed their ass on a platter, and another side wants me to see him move up and onwards. obviously one of these is going to happen. maybe even both in time.
