josh kinberg's case has finally been dropped. not sure if some of you remember or even knew. but josh built a bike with a (sms) wireless message system which sprayed biodegrade-able water soluble chalked messages fed by the "internet site" onto the street as he rode the bike along. he was arrested this past fall while discussing his bike in an interview with MSNBC. he was in town to protest @ the republican candidate convention in NYC.

of course no exact charges were filed at the time, but he was arrested none the less.
gottta love the big blue wall of the NYPD. being a newyorker i can honestly say NYPD is a exact reflection of the motto: ("fear" ... goes hand and hand with power)

its good and bad in my opinion.

if you watch the video, you'll see 4 cops standing around for a long time waiting to hear back from dispatch if they should arrest josh or not. in newyork terms when 4 cops stand around for 20mintes that would mean another 100+ drug deals happen, 50 more tricks are turned, multiple physical assults, shots fired from a crime scene, a few pick pockets get to run free, burglery or 4 in progress & some old lady was sexually assulated. this happens everyday multiple times in a city of this size.
the funny thing is a sizeable percentage of NYPD cops are such slackers that even if they were on the beat for the wasted 20 minutes, theses crimes would go on carefree anyway.

its obvious josh is a city threat.
ha ha ha yeah right.
