fruity apples

podbrix.jpg
(a mocked upon spoof of a lego man w/ ipod)

the humor will be endless this year as mac has rolled out so many new products targeted to the general masses. many many design spoofs, home created ads & actual new ideas have started. needless to say my pc friends have come out of the woodwork being haters about apple. its like a hobby for them to joke about it. kind of like picking on the nerd in grade school. but you know what they say about that right? be careful picking on a nerd, one day you will be working for one.
i will not name names but my friend that works over at real networks sums up the mac world in one word "fruity". which is true in many ways.

but in the end they are all envious. :-)

It never ceases to amaze me the elitest attitude that MAC users have. I myself use both a MAC and a PC. Although I feel no strong allegiance to one side or the other, I can't help but thinking that in this day and age, the MAC users are really just folks who don't want to conform. In that case Yea for the MAC guys! But come on Corey. Who's the real "hater" here. You are not going to win over the masses with and elitest, high-browed attitude. It's not working for the Democrats, it won't work for you. I myself am a staunch independent in both politics and computers.

Peace, love and good humor from the cold Northeast

lol ~ thats funny matt, you wanker ;-) & i appreciate the humor spam. someday this site will get onto some real spammers links and i'll be crying while i try to install some tags and spam blocking-ware for the site.

for now though...hmmm where to begin? ok i'll just stab and start. first off i think you would have liked living in burlington, vermont. bernie sanders was a socialist and indie point of view kinda guy. he switched hit on politics when he needed to.

moving on....for now i'm going to choose the road of pulling politics and my own personal computer usages apart from your directly pointed pun oriented banter. your hurt my feelings..cry cry...sniff sniff.

i read an article a week or so back. mainly referring to the different between mac folks and PC folks. the main reference was in humor & right brain attitude really. (of course this article is a general blanket opinion and sterotypes the 2 sides) it talked about how PC people really have a daily need for the computer. they look at it like a blender, fridge, car or some other basic functional unit or appliance. then the author refers to the apple user as a person who is in love more or less with their apple. ideas like design, color, feel, synergy and other basic needs such as internal functionality with operating sytems, SW, etc.

i thought is was funny as a sunday comics kinda view point. but then it raised a couple decent ideas:
(1) a pc essentially really is the "bastard child" of steve jobs anyway. i mean history shows the pc (bill gates) is a rip off of the 80's apple.
(2) you've seen the movie tucker, aviator or any other movie with the analogy of david and goliath right? isn't this the real issue here, that we now get a choice to try something else. why not explore the idea if the opportunity presents itself?

oh and matt, by the way....i worked out at microsoft for years. i understand the pc world better than you think.

Now if you're gonna start that we might as well say that the Mac is a ripoff of the Xerox operating sytem that was invented in the 70's which used a mouse but no one understood the practicle use of it.

SO...
it all goes back to inovation

BTW 8 more inches of back breaking hater producing snow expected to fall tonight

:-}
i'll see if i can get the boss to fly you out here for a website demo? which by the way the new site is coming along well and in the weekly managers meeting Jray talks about the WAP site like its crack.
