last night we attended the japanese lantern festival here in honolulu. a celebration to pay respects to lost loved ones off all kinds & to send positive wishes to those in the world. a melting pot of people gathered from all over the country as well as various regions in asia to partake in the ceremony.

maybe about 12-18 thousand people gathered for an afternoon combination of memorial weekend bbq's, beach activities, dance, food & sunshine. donations were accepted from those who wanted to have a lantern sent out into the pacific on their or the families honor.

we wanted to pay respects to Ye's & my family:
Grandmother(s)
Duc
Noah
