post E3 lowdown

e3-1
Aloha, back in the saddle after a week away. oh brah..it’s nice to be back in the tropics & far away from the vortex of oddities that some people in the world call “LA”. What a show that turned out to be. In retrospect the trip was relatively jam packed, most of the time it felt like a fast motion movie w/ us the viewer on slowmo speed. Maybe I’ve gone native & now view my life as a possibility of cruzing rather then being trapped in a rat race. Could be that or I’m just over it already & could care less about the fast lane glam life of the “in” feeling. I guess it's better summed up as "different strokes for different folks".

Some post E3 feedback:

About 75-100 thousand people a day attended the game convention. Every type of big, small, odd & unique game company in the world had some type of presence there. Lots of foot patrol as well as booth slumming to be had by all. Including more booth babes, alcohol, sugar, red bull, goth, techy, digital camera straped pasty white geeks then you could shake darth vader's death ray at. StIMULus overload for the ears & eyes. After a few days there it was great to be out in a quiet place with the ability to hear again. As for the game review's...we played a bunch of super cool rally race games as well as checked out some of the most spectacular preset footage of games to come to the market. As usual ea sports, konami, namco, tecmo, ncsoft, xbox, sony, sega, ubisoft & many others put on some damn fine displays of gaming entertainment. Of course we checked out our own market as well. Poking around to see what the 2005/06 new games will look like. :-}
