the present
these shots are from a visit we made to a korean temple about 2 valley's or so across the island. it was during the celebrated birthday of the buddha. by far this particular temple has one of the most colorful expressions of craft. all those beautiful colors you see have been individually painted. its so peacful there that you feel as if you've been dropped into asia somewhere back in time. to visit a place like this, to see the monks walking peacfully, the glance of an inherently friendly person....it struck a cord & reminded me to think about the fake plastic world we live in today. about how "i" can try harder everday to search for the good in people & life.
