alittle fireworks, surfing & blowing up my back yard
as w/ everycity in the good'ole usa, honolulu likes to send up some fireworks for the spirit of the holiday. thousands of people flock to every square inch of possbile space near the beach to watch the shelling. so...in fine creative spirit we loaded the vw van w/ 6 people & boards & headed out for a fireworks surf session @ canoes.
w/ glow sticks wrapped around as necklaces /braclets we plowed through the crowds & paddled out. the fireworks show was cool & the waves were head /shoulder high & super glasssssy! it was epic out there under the stars, moonlight & bursting colors over the island.
after the session we headed home for a little after party show where we set fire to some much more toned down fireworks. i still managed to burn my thumbs though.
hey, what would the 4th be with our some singed hairs & burnt fingers on themorning of the 5th?
