team riding
of course as many of us know the 2005 tour is in motion. all the hype is on lance lance lance. which is good since he can deal & he's the damn man when it comes to the tour.
but his team is really the true engine that helps lance behind the scenes. especially his fierce srgt. in arms george hincapie. i mean seriously, this guy day in & out is the go to guy. pull, chase, food pickups, water, drop'em, paceline you name it george does it all. as a cyclist george's strongest weakness is big mtn climbs at 75-100% climbers pace. which all on its own is a speciality, but he'll ride as hard as he can & is under the agreement that in the mtn's he rides until he blows up. for those that don't cycle, that means ride until you crack & fall back due to exhaustion.
so....to you george thanks for the many years of loyal service in postal & now discovery. you shed some strong light for american cyclists to see what team work can feel/ look like.
