glass love

ironic advice i so need this morning. so i'm off to the north shore tonight. looking forward to some head high glass love. hell if i feel randy i might just get a lil'sunrise yoga in first then slip into the water. hmmmmm sunrises, dawn patrol, low crowds & head high bombers. its a space in the soul that i finally found a key for. the same feeling a little child has when overly excited about a playground. (whatever that playground maybe for them)

as a rug rat kid in the new england area, growing up outdoors was just a part of life. no options were offered but to get outside & explore. we were poor livng in the adirondacks what other options does one have? in that type of geography it was a common way to get rid of energy. @ least that was my moms approach for getting us out of her hair before she threw the locked down on us 3 kids. :-) anyhow..the point being i've learned some of my most valued lessons through mother nature. our love affair is complicated, seductive & ever so profound.

check out this clip to get some perspective if you like. same day we went out but a little later in the afternoon. sunset break w/ some epic waves & great surfers.

one of these waves is worth all the risk.....all of it.
