north shore cabin
the north shore swells are coming. people always seem to think spring or summer are the best times for waves out here. or for that matter the west coast in general.
when in fact the later summer/fall & early winter are very good quality months for the north, south & west sides. the north west storms come alive bringing waves from the alaska & japan areas. while the southern tropics still have some remaning winter swells brewing out of new zealand & aussie land.
kimo was saying yesterday he was getting nice 5-6ft barrels @ lani's! geesh i need some of that right about now.
ah well, looks like kimo is interested in having some extra manual labor help on the land in exchange for some free use of the cabins. looks like the master plan is going to be a win win for all sides. i even talked with my boss here & cut a deal to allow me to cruz in late once a week. work a 1/2 day type deal so i can surf the north shore this winter. gotta love the barter thing.
