catalyst foundatiion
doing some research on nonprofit organizations in vietnam and i stumbled upon this one. i know it's has nothing to do with surfing, but it does have to do with the soul & human spirit. so once again, i'd like to share with you all:

Scott Parker, Co-Founder of Catalyst Foundation, will be Biking for Hope - 2000 miles from Oregon to Minnesota August 16- September 3, 2006 to raise awareness and money for girls living in a garbage dump of Rach Gia City (Kien Giang Province). Our goal is to raise $40,000 to send 300 children to school, to build a school where they can live and study, to start a job training program for the oldest, and most importantly to give them HOPE for a better future.
