surfing the unknown
hello our dear 'ohana! yes, yes, we know it's been way toooo long since we've posted. let's just say we've been busy these past couple of months. trips back and forth to the mainland, just spent some time in maui to hang out with the dalai lama, still a bit crazy...but oh well, such is life these days. so the big news is that we've acquired a second residence in southern california!! yes, we're living the high life now. single fin's got a great job in southern california, working for the mother ship of video games. he's fully equipped with a thick wet suit that makes him look like an action figure ready for surfing the waves in california. me? i just got a little 7'2" short board that looks like a fish on fire and rides like a rocket. it's my sanity, the surf to cleanse away the day of seeing clients. i am thankful everyday for all that is. so we're living in both places, the best of both worlds for now...who knows what the future beholds for us? alas, that is the beauty of it all :)

WOW!! Congratulations!! That is big news!! So, is Corey living in California or are you both travelling back and forth?? Hope all is well with you both!

"boing boing boing" is about all i can use for a descriptive word for our life at this stage.
tiz true its been madness lately and looks like i've finally landed here in the city of angeles. the short of it is that i had to shut the game studio down in hawaii and was offered a really sweet gig in LA that was to hard to pass up. they offered me other role throughout the world but LA was the best decision for us so that we could still keep hawaii in our lives.
needless to say we'll be jet setting back and forth monthly for at least a year until we feel our the socal thing. i will say though i've been here a week and surfed about 3-4 times. the water smells like ass and the people are chill. the wetsuit thing is alot like wear jeans that fit you 5 years ago. but its not to bad. the water is about 55-66 and is more or less straight beach pound.
i bet most of you thought we were going to be having a kid er something. HAHAHA HELLLLLLLs no. not yet anyhow.
more to come soon. still waiting on a few things and my computer crashed. so there you have it! ;-)
