waves of aloha
yes, yes, we've been slacking in the blogging world. our deepest apologies for not keeping the update. i think i'm just gonna do mini check-ins with you all each day. okay, here's the short & skinny...single fin's working like crazy on the mainland. he jumps out in the surf every so often. the water apparently has a strange odor to it. i'll let him elaborate on it. he's playing with his childhood buddy from kindergarten this week-end. they're off to san diego for the day. aaahhh, road trips...how i miss them so?
me? i'm doing well. my days consist of my ashtanga yoga practice in the mornings, seeing clients during the day, jumping out in the water to surf, cleansing my days away. yoga, work, surf...playing with my friends, as well. i just had a semi-annual meeting over the week-end for our professional association. it's always such a joy to see the family. lots of new ideas for the upcoming year. today, i'm off to waikiki to go teach yoga & surf. i'm involved in this mentorship program for the hawaii girls' court system. it's a beautifully self-empowering program that teaches troubled girls how to surf and learn yoga.
on another note, we're coming to seattle the week-end of june 19th! gonna hang out with the family. anyone up for a reunion?
